The American Medical Association (AMA) recently announced a request for applications for its Accelerating Change in Medical Education Innovation Grant Program. These grants are designed to provide financial support to hasten the transformation of medical education and better position learners to succeed in our rapidly evolving health care system.
These $30,000 grants, which will be issued to undergraduate and graduate medical education faculty, are designed to newly implement or generate supporting materials for key innovations developed through the "Accelerating Change in Medical Education" initiative, including health systems science, coaching in support of competency development or transitions, and the master adaptive learner model. Inter-institutional collaborative projects that include organizations new to the "Accelerating Change in Medical Education" initiative will be particularly competitive.
Principal investigators must hold an active individual membership in the American Medical Association.
Proposal Deadline: May 11, 2020, 11:50 p.m. Central Time.
